Anjali's visit and Vicki's baby shower

Hello, hello!



This has been an eventful week. We came home from Dreamland (aka Africa) on Sunday night. On Monday morning Anjali came into town for a visit. She just finished the New York State Bar exam and begins work in early September. I arranged to have lunch with her, Emily and Jaclyn. These are my three closest girlfriends and it was SO much fun to have them all together.

Anjali had the opportunity to meet the puppies and quickly fell in love with Ms. Nala. She couldn't get enough of her!

After Anjali left on Wednesday night I had a LOT of work to do. I finished this blog of Africa, did a bunch of school work (which is endless, BTW) and cleaned the house. I can't believe how quickly and easily stuff gets piled up around here!

Today we went to Vicki's baby shower. She is due on October 16 and is having a little girl named Tessa Naomi. The shower was cute, held at the "Inn of the Seventh Ray" which is kind of hippie, but the food is yummy. I'm jealous that she is so close to having a little one!
