Today was the anatomical ultrasound. She measured his kidneys and heart and head and femur, etc, etc to make sure he was growing correctly and looks healthy. He is! He's still measuring 4 days bigger than they previously thought, so that makes my due date May 21 instead of May 25. The earlier the better, right? I want to play with our little one!
Here's a picture of this week's belly. As you can see, I'm getting bigger despite losing 1.5 pounds. Go figure? So long as Baby Boy is healthy, I'm happy. Gaining only a few pounds for the whole pregnancy wouldn't be terrible either. We'll see what happens though, I'm not even halfway there.
Here are some pictures of the baby. There are 2 of his feet. I'm hoping he doesn't take after his Daddy and have gigantic feet...at least not before he comes out of me! There are 2 pictures of his gigantic testicles. Even Brian could make them out today. Again, Baby Boy George was sitting so that as soon as the ultrasound tech put the wand on my tummy he was sitting there with his butt up and his testicles hanging out in the breeze. She immediately confirmed that we are having a boy. He's certainly not shy, so he's more like his Mommy than his Daddy in that sense.
