Hunter is TWO!!!!!!!

What a BIG week!  We'll start with Hunter's birthday party.  He sure did LOVE being the center of attention (remind you of anyone?).  We had a firetruck theme since he is slightly obsessed with firetrucks and "emlances" (ambulances).  The newest obsession is the "peace trar" (police car), but I digress.  So on Saturday the8th we had 20 of his buddies join us for Cafe Rio and a party at My Gym.Me and "Aunty B" playing with the parachuteBest buddy KeaganBubbles!BUBBLES!The cakeCandle time

The day before, Uncle (Dr.) Jeff came to visit.  We had Hunter say "Dr. Raskin" which Jeff thought was very funny.  He can't wait to have babies himself and was SO good with the boys.  he chased Hunter around the par like crazy.  Here they are, taking a rest.

Clearly, he isn't having any fun at all
Brushing their teeth together.  He wanted to do EVERYTHING that Uncle Feff did.
And of course Jeff took some time to snuggle with the little man

We went to the fireman's open house on Saturday the 8th.  They did a hose demonstration and gave out hot dogs to the kids.  We had so much fun and Hunter was totally tired for his nap, before his party.
Today we had a belated Mother's Day celebration.  Last weekend was so hectic with the birthday celebration.  We went for brunch in laguna (one of my favorite places) and ran around in the park.  Now we're home, getting ready for company, but I had to post these photos before time got away from us even further.
On Hunter's actual birthday, the 11th, we went to a restaurant called the Proud Bird.  It is one of the coolest places I have been for dinner.  You sit on the end of the runway for LAX, so you see planes landing right near you.  There are also about 10 planes from WWII in 1941.  You can walk around and see the planes up close.  It's really fantastic.  There are also headphones and you can listen to the control tower.  Hunter LOVES it there and the food is pretty good.  I plan on taking every visitor we ever have to this restaurant.
Here are some random photos from the park. Hunter is learning how to ride his new bike from his Gramma.
Here he is hanging out with "Neen", one of his favorite people. And Landon was chilling in the shade.
A GOOD friend from high school was in town and we got to see her too.  Haven't seen her in years and it was so much fun to share my babies with her and catch up.  Her family owns a bundt cake business that is (unfortunately? or fortunately?) opening right here in Manhattan Beach.  I'm going to do my best to make sure that this company does AWESOME.
Ok, that's all for now.  Hunter is tormenting the dogs while Landon is peacefully watching tv.  Why is my 3 month old watching tv?  Good question.  I'm going....
