We went to Disneyland with Hunter's Meema, Peepaw, Uncle Jeff and Uncle Jason (which sounds like chicken). We had a lot of fun! It's amazing to see Disneyland through the eyes of a 2 year old. He just absolutely went nuts. He loves Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, so he just had SO much fun there!
Hunter has become quite the comedian. He says the funniest things lately. Some of our conversations lately have gone like this:
"Mommy, Hunter's tushy is cracked. I need a new one. And mommy, and Jeff and Jason."
Me: "Oh yea, what about Daddy?"
Hunter: "No, his is okay."
Or this:
"Mommy, boys have peanuts and girls have babies."
Or this:
"Minnie Mouse is HOT."
Landon, on the other hand is not funny but he is incredibly sweet. He can crawl all over the place and has started pulling to a stand and cruising (at 8 months). He loves to pull up on my pant legs. Those are his favorite things to hold. No matter where I am, he finds me and then crawls as fast as he can towards me. As he gets closer you can hear the excitement because he pants so very, very loudly. Then when he gets to me he pulls himself up on my pants and looks up at me with the sweetest little face. I just can't help it - I have to hold him.
We have enjoyed a few weeks of downtime - staying in the Manhattan Beach area as we get ready to go away for 2 weeks in a row. I've been working so hard on finishing my dissertation. Last week I was away from the boys 4 times. It was way too much and I don't want to do it again. That being said, I am determined to graduate May 13, 2011. So I will do what needs to be done!
Enjoy the photos from the last week or so!

Oops - out of order. Landon at his My Gym class. He's the youngest so he is learning a LOT from the older kids.
Eating a bagel during Hunter's soccer practice. Keagan isn't in this class and consequently it is SO hard to keep him interested. I'm suspending him going to the class until Keagan joins again. He just won't play unless I play with him!
The boys on the swings
Hunter playing soccer. That looks like a penalty kick!
Hunter went to his first day of preschool on September 17. It's only on Fridays and only in the mornings. It's a co-op, so we work once a month. Here he is, all ready for school in his backpack and fleece. He came home 2 outfits later because he got so messy! I stayed the whole time the first time he went but the second time I just walked him in and left. He did a GREAT job! He only cried for a few minutes and then played with his friends. I am so proud of him.
Luke - one of Hunter's favorite friends (well, RC is one of my favorite mom's, so by default....) turned 2 last week. They had a fun party at their house. This is the family.
Gavin, Hunter and Kai enjoyed cupcakes. Look at those faces!
RC and her baby boy!
Last Sunday we went to Palos Verdes for dinner. It was cold up there, but so beautiful and so much fun. Here is a picture of me and Landon enjoying the beautiful scenery.
That's all! Have a great week!
