The past few weeks

I've been a busy busy Mommy!!  We've been having so much fun adjusting to this wonderful little girl.  I admit that I might have a problem...I love to dress her up in all kinds of fun accessories!  everyday she is in pink with a bow and shoes and anything else I can put with her outfit.

These sunglasses are obviously too big but I LOVE them and can't wait until she can wear them!
Superman sure does love her.  I'm lucky, I think, that Hunter loves her so much so Landon does too.  Landon has had a very different adjustment to his little sister than Hunter had to his little brother.  They are both very sweet with her - hugging and kissing a little *too* much!
 Look at this beautiful girl!!!
Thanksgiving! I haven't posted these photos.  It was really fun.  We usually make the entire meal from scratch.  We decided to order most of it this year except the turkey, spinach soufflé and some chocolate muffins. I made the soufflé while walking around the kitchen nursing. Ha.  What FUN!
Uncle Jason is reading Landon a story.
Baby burrito.  She is just so precious and little.  Oh - and at her 1 month appointment she had gained 2 pounds from her birth weight!! She's almost 9 lbs already!! I wish she would slow down in her growth.  I love having a little baby.  She can lift her head and turn it when on her tummy! And she's staying awake for 2-3 hour periods.
We went to one of my friend's daughter's baptism.  It was a really neat experience to see her choose the Gospel.  In our religion, you don't get baptized until you are 8 (the age of accountability) and can choose to  keep the covenants that you make at baptism. Anyhow, she lives in the Valley and has a big yard and some fun ride alongs.

 The cutest picture ever.
Any little Tommy hopped on the back!! 3 boys!
South Coast Plaza - our favorite place to go on the weekend at this time of year.  It is SO decorated for the holidays and has carolers, a big Santa village, a carousel with reindeer and, Landon's favorite - a train.  Landon is obsessed with trains and we're getting him a train set for Christmas.  He hopped right on the train.  Hunter wouldn't get on until after Landon had gone once by himself and shown him that it was safe. Hunter can be very cautious and doesn't love to try new things.  Landon is more of a dare devil.
Then they rode it twice more together.
Landon is a nudist.  If I am not watching him for 2 minutes he takes off his pants and diaper and runs to the potty.  When I put him on the potty he says "all done" and then "fush" - not flush - and hops down to flush the potty.  I think I might go hard core in the new year and potty train him.  He's interested - and naked so much of the time - I might as well only have 1 in diapers!  In this photo I was chasing him around trying to get pants on him.
Landon is in his big boy bed.  Every night I ask him if he wants to sleep in his big boy bed or his crib.  Now when we go upstairs I don't even have to ask because he yells at me "big boy bed!!!"  Look at him snuggling his pillow.  Sweet little man.
Our friend's house has an awesome backyard.  It has this little play structure, lots of toys and his buddy Andrew.  Landon tags along with them for the most part, except when they try to make a "hideout" and say he can't go with them.  I'm over there a lot because Hunter is at a very challenging age for me.  He's pushing limits (and my buttons), so I go to Megan's house.  Safety in numbers :-)
 Trouble 1 and 2
Another big boy bed photo.  I try to take one every few days.  Isn't it cute?!  He's so little in this big bed.
We went to a birthday party for one of Landon's friends.  It was really cute because we've all known each other since the babies were infants.  It was also Aspen's first birthday party, so she's all dressed up!
 Aspen in her party dress.
Landon with some of the big kids, waiting for cake.
 Snuggle bug.
Our friends, the Parkers, came to meet Aspen and play with the boys.  He was pretty taken with her.
And ready to be a Grandpa.
Jennie, their adopted Aunt, is well loved.
 So loved, this little girl!
On Monday night we went with a bunch of families to the Temple.  We brought hot chocolate, brownies and some energy to run around and look at the Christmas lights.  The Temple is such a beautiful place to visit and it has Christmas lights everywhere.  It's pretty magnificent and you can feel the spirit so strong when you're there.
 Pigging out!
 Landon and Beckett with Gigi.
 Rhys, Hamilton, Kieran and Hunter.
And then there were 6 little hoodlums. Ha..  These boys have so much fun together.  Gigi isn't pictured.
At the end of the night Daddy had to carry the boys back to the car because they were too excited and wild.
Our house is all decorated.  Hunter and Landon's favorite part is the "candy corns."  It doesn't matter how many times I say "candy canes" because these are candy corns.
Manhattan Beach has Santa go to every block, every year, and take pictures in the sleigh with Santa.  Our boys were ecstatic.  Landon ran around yelling "Santa" all day long...and every day after that too.  He's still doing it.
 Sweet baby girl.
 She finally likes baths!
I love how her hair looks after a bath! Doesn't she look adorable here? Look at that full belly!
We went to Disneyland for my 30th birthday.  I cannot believe I am 30.  I felt so blessed that 5 of my girlfriends met us with their kids.  Also, someone in our church can get 3 people in for free so she offered to drive down, get us in and take us shopping (for 40% off in stores).  We are so grateful to her!!  Then, as we walked in, Kate said she was in line for Mickey.  We walked up and saw him about 2 minutes later.  I felt very lucky again!  The third lucky experience was that some friends saved space for us for the parade at 4 pm (for a 5:30 parade).  It was an amazing day and I felt loved and lucky to have so many friends with me.
 The Spjutes and Georges.
 The Hunts, Spjutes and Georges
Hunter, Brandon and Hamilton.  They all have little brothers who are around 2.
Daddy and the boys on the rocket ship.
Landon took an almost 2 hour nap!! How lucky was that?
Then I fed my boys churros.
 And i had some too.
This is the whole group - back to the redhead (Kate).  we had so much fun!!
And we took up an entire boat.  These are the MB friends.  Kate, Tami, Steph, Jasmine and various children.
The moms.  Steph's baby boy was born less than a day after Aspen.  We're planning their wedding.
With the Halls, waiting for the parade.  Thanks for getting such awesome seats.
 Parade time!
 The boys were in awe.
Sweet girl.  She is such an angel.
Kisses and snuggles from the big brother.
We did a cookie exchange, which was one of the most fun things I've ever done.  We each made 10 dozen cookies and then switched - so we had a variety of cookies.  This was ridiculously fun!

Yesterday we went to the park.  Hunter is getting really good at his balance bike and balance scooter.  I'm so proud of him.
The boys had so much fun!
Last night we went out on a date night.  I was excited to fit into a new dress in my normal size.  9 lbs to pre-preg weight, 14 to happy!
And, of course, I had to dress her up in this tutu.  She'll be wearing it to church today.  So cute.
Hunter is so sweet when he's sleeping.
As is the little love bug.
I love my family, my life and my friends.  I feel so blessed to be able to do all of the fun things that I can do.  I feel blessed to have the Gospel in my life.  Our life is so full and wonderful. Off to church!
