We've had a very busy few weeks. There have been many birthday celebrations. Actually, I had one a day for a week. It was wonderful and made me feel special. Otherwise, the kids are growing quickly.
Hunter understands sarcasm and it is fun to explore that with him. He's quite interested in science, like his Mama and math, like his Daddy. He has really started to enjoy reading, which is so wonderful. He loves golf, skiing, iPad and playing with his friends.
Landon is becoming more and more introverted the further we get into school. He comes home everyday and spends an hour or two alone in his room playing with cars or trains and decompressing. He is a joy to me and is learning quickly although he is stubborn about pushing himself to new heights. He is really smart and one day we know he will start to enjoy learning. He loves to ski, play quietly in his room and snuggle with Mommy.
Aspen is super smart. She enjoys her sister, her dolls, skiing and learning. She is probably the opposite of Landon in every respect. She frequently dresses herself in goofy dresses and is super outgoing. She loves to learn and when we are home she asks to do her workbook or read books and sound out letters. When I tell her that the tutor is coming to work with her, it brightens her day.
Maisy. This girl makes me laugh every single day. She is truly hilarious. She wants to be big, even though I want to keep her little. We started potty training yesterday, the day she turned 21 months. She repeatedly removes her diaper and goes on the floor, so it is her choice as opposed to mine. She loves shoes, her sister, her mama and her blanket. She loves learning new words, changing her clothes, meeting new friends, changing her clothes, and leaving the house. She really enjoys sitting in the stroller, but only until she doesn't. She also really enjoys eating, except when she doesn't. And she loves her crib, except she would rather sleep in Aspen's bed.
She is hilarious and lovable and all good things. Except when she's screaming. But even her tantrums are cute and she seems to be our comic relief.
Edwin came for a visit. Whenever Daddy was his helper, he did naughty things like poop hershey kisses on the counter.
Christmas day - she got a fun Minnie Mouse purse.
The boys take golf lessons every week with Scott. Scott is really nice and patient with the boys, especially Mr. Landon.
We had dinner with our fun friends, the Hopkins.
And visited Santa.
My new shoes! They were a birthday gift! I LOVE them.
We had the annual cookie exchange, which resulted in my making 17 dozen homemade caramel and chocolate covered pretzels.
And our cutie doggy.
We had several playdates.
And Hunter got the Bobcat award. I don't normally go to Scouts, but Brian was out of town. I'm glad I got to see this!
Maisy got new jammies that are perfectly fitting of her. They say "the monster is sleeping."
Me and my girls. <3 p="">
