Last night we had dinner with Katy and Justin Cannon. That was about the most fun we've had in awhile. Katy is 6 1/2 months pregnant and looks adorable. I hadn't seen her in ages so it was just great to go out for a nice dinner with old friends.
After a relaxing weekend, Brian and I headed over to a friend's house (called the 407) to carve pumpkins. Although we were hoping the entire "pod" (aka: Kean, Ng, Spies, Shank, Shelly and me) would be there, problems abounded. Ng had knee surgery and wasn't feeling up to attending and Nikki's cat ran away just before she left to join us. Kean had dinner with some other lucky friends, so there we were: Shank, Spies, Brian and me with 5 pumpkins. I think we did a pretty good job. It was fun to be a kid again and carve some pumpkins. Besides, I needed some time with my friends!

Hi Trishie...I enjoyed seeing you & Boo with the pumpkins & your friends. I hadn't checked your blog in a while & was delighted to see such joy all around. See you tomorrow for my family birthday dinner...by the way, I dreamed last night that your Dec. ultrasound revealed a boy...hmmm.
