San Diego and Catalina

This week started on Wednesday. What a busy day! It began at 4:30, for some odd reason. The puppies woke us up and we thought maybe there was an earthquake coming...however, nothing was wrong. Hunter slept through it and Brian and I stayed awake. I had an appointment at the gym at 8 am (yes, 8 am), so I left early to do some cardio beforehand. I went from the gym to a new Mommy and Me class. Hunter is going to enjoy school, I can tell because he looks so happy in this class! This is Bridget and Keegan who are in the class with us. We're going to switch to the afternoon class though, so we can be with Betsey and Karen too.

This is one of my favorite new pictures of Hunter. Brian was tickling him and he was looking around - so cute!
Daddy sure does love his little guy!
We went to dinner and a baseball game with the Parker family. Michelle loves Hunter. She even got him a San Diego Padres beanie!
This is the group who went to the game. We had amazing seats - 17 rows up from the dugout. I covered Hunter's little head every single time there was a fly ball. Scary stuff! Luckily I was surrounded by big strong men who would have caught the ball had it come too close (which it didn't).
Here we are - Hunter, Terry and I. Terry is like my adopted Dad and he sure does adore Hunter!
Daddy is loving the little guy. Aren't they sweet together? Hunter watches Brian when he walks around and then as soon as Brian looks at him he gets this HUGE smile on his face. Hunter just adores his Daddy (and vice versa I think).
Look at the cutie pie! And the cute hat Michelle got him!

The Padres LOST, but it was a fun game anyways. Brown? Or green? It varies so much!
Hunter stretching out on the bed.
Ready for bed, we take a little nighty night picture.
King of the bed! Where do Daddy and I sleep? Hunter already peed in the other bed while I was changing him (hehe). He's such a cute pee-er though, who can be upset?
On Thursday before we left San Diego we went swimming. Hunter is getting ready for the water.

Here we are getting ready to swim.
My little lovey face!
And he's got my hair. Have I mentioned that he has the grip of steel? He's gotten very proficient at reaching and grabbing. I'm really happy about that. My hair, on the other hand, is not so happy about this new ability.
Look at the waves! He's kicking! He's like a natural swimmer.
After a little swimming Hunter was POOPED! He needed a great big nap.

So we left San Diego and headed straight to Catalina. He's wearing Daddy's hat and Mommy's sunglasses. Isn't he a little stud?!
Here we are on the boat. One thing Hunter does a lot is suck on his hands. He actually sucks on just about ANYTHING.
But it makes him happy, so we don't care!
Here I am on the ground because Hunter is sitting like a big boy in my chair.

Here he poses on the couch in Catalina. Look at the belly!
We fell asleep on the couch all cuddled up together.
Mommy and baby!
Look at our little gangster baby. Doesn't he look so tough? Haha.
And here he is sucking on my hat. If I let him he will suck on my chin, my nose, my cheek...I call him "Jaws" these days!
We came back from Catalina on Saturday and a friend, Bridget, came over with her son Keegan. Her hubby was at the game, so he wasn't with us. Here's Hunter hanging out on the couch.
Keegan (born July 12) is wearing a matching onesie! Yay for USC babies!
Buddies! Hunter has his arm around Keegan.
Here's Momma Bridget with the little guy. He was so excited and didn't want to sleep.
Here's Daddy and baby while baby is wearing his nice new beanie!
On the way to dinner, all dressed in a little bear outfit, Hunter threw a fit. You can see his little tears in his eyes. So sad.
Here we are at dinner - look at our little lovey bear.

The puppies are playing on the bed. They are SO cute and playful. I love these little guys.
Hunter was in the mood to pose - look at the face!

If you can't tell, I'm completely and totally in love with my little family. Hunter and his Daddy are the most attractive guys in the world! Our puppies are fantastic. Life is GOOD!
