Week sweet sixteen!

This week was fabulous! Hunter is getting SO big that sometimes I think he is a 6 month old. Of course, then I look around me at the 6 month olds and know that he is a normal size for his age. Some friends of ours sent us this adorable puppy chair. He looks very relaxed and happy in it, but he has learned how to turn from his back to tummy ( a first this week), which makes this chair not the safest thing ever. We'll revisit it when he's a little bit older.
My mother-in-law and I like to have tea together. We sit and eat tons of sandwiches and scones. Gramma was excited for Hunter's first tea outing with us.

Because Hunter can turn himself over, this is his new favorite way to sleep. You can imagine that my heart stops every time I see him like this. Somehow he is actually getting air, but I turn him over anyways. Brian and I are both tummy sleepers, so I'm sure it's genetic.
Karen was sweet enough to have the mommys over to her house last Friday. Here you can see Hunter, his girlfriend Nora (Ryan's baby), Jasmine and Finn. It was quite the event for the babies.
You see, Jasmine was hitting on Hunter, so Nora was unhappy. Nora and Hunter are an item (see last week's post)

Hunter is reaching out for Nora (the first baby he has ever reached for). Jasmine is laying right nearby though, in case Nora gives up Hunter.
There she is, Jasmine, trying to steal Mr. Hunter from Nora. Hunter is clearly oblivious to all of this drama. I hope he stays that way :-)
Anabel, meanwhile, is asleep in her Papasan swing. She's so happy in this thing. Hunter won't let me put him down for more than 30 seconds in any of his toys. She sleeps for hours in here, says mommy Karen.
Hunter is enjoying his time on the floor, but looking around for his lady friends.
That night we went to the beach to watch sunset with Bridget & Morgan (baby Keegan), Ryan and Rhett (baby Nora) ad Brittaney (baby Wilder). Brittaney's hubby is a chef so he works at night time.

The sunset was spectacular!
Morgan and Bridget are up and about.

Later, Hunter had a bath. I came back to find him in his co-sleeper like this. I had just gone to get his lotion (hence no diaper). He's such a little nudist and always prefers not to have his diaper on him. He kicks off the blankets constantly. But look how CUTE he is!!
Daddy and baby Hunter.
Look at those green eyes! I did some research, and it turns out that eyes are not merely a dominant/recessive thing. There are 2 colors of pigment, yellow and black. The eyes start out as blue (no pigment) and the more you add, the darker they get. So if you have blue eyes and add a little bit of yellow then you will get green eyes. It's quite possible that baby Hunter will have green or hazel eyes. Right now they're looking a beautiful shade of green.
We went to the Parker's for dinner on Sunday night. Here, Grandpa Terry is holding Hunter. Hunter adores his Grandpa.
Nice and safe in his big paws.

It is obvious that I can't get enough of my naked little baby. This is before bed one night. I think his bare skin is just beautiful.
Thor has been very cuddly lately. Brian woke up to find Thor cuddled right up to him! How cute are they?
And my 3 boys are all together in bed!
Could he be any cuter?!
A pensive Hunter enjoys a cushy seat at Starbuck's while waiting for Daddy.
I was hoping he would turn over for me, but instead he just giggled.
Daddy and Hunter pose on the couch. Aren't they both so cute?
The big eyes - he's Curious George!
Every Tuesday the mommies and I go to the Farmer's Market. Ryan is sticking Nora's feet in the water.
After such a fun week, Hunter is just exhausted. Actually, this was immediately before I wrote the blog. This little guy doesn't like to sleep when I have stuff to do, but luckily I stole a few moments to write this for you all. I hope you're all having a fantastic week!
