This is Michelle and Madeline. Madeline is a sweet little girl who has gronw up a lot over the last 6 weeks that I've known her.
On Tuesday, Hunter had his first swim lesson. Swim lessons take place in an indoor swimming pool, heated to 84 degrees. The air is also heated to 84 degrees. No one else showed up for the class, so we had a private lesson with the instructor, Daniel. Of course, we had to postpone from the 4 pm class to the 5 pm class because I forgot towels and I brought 2 swimsuit tops and no swimsuit bottoms! I didn't want to give the little kids a show, so we had to go home and get prepared.
Wednesday morning we went to the gym, as usual. Sadly, Jo, the woman who cares for Hunter the most, told us that she was leaving the Kids Club to work at the front desk. This made both of us very sad, but she is still at Equinox so Hunter and I get to see her.

He is SO SO SO close to crawling. He gets frustrated and cries as he crawls backwards....it's very cute. I can't pick him up every time because he has to learn how to do it on his own. However, I do pick him up pretty quickly because I can't handle the crying!

Michelle, Madeline and I went to get pedicures together at this super cute place in Hermosa Beach. It's called Mani Pedi Cutie. and is designed for Mommy's to bring their babies. It's a really nice place to be, and when you have a little girl, you can bring her and get her nails done! So cute! My mom used to do this with me a lot when I was younger.
My 2 men were hanging out at the Redondo Beach Brewing Company on Thursday night. We were going to the Holiday stroll with a bunch of people but it just ended up being Morgan, Bridget Keegan and our little family. It was a whole lot of fun to walk around and see Santa and other holiday offerings.

On Friday I went to Van Nuys to visit Ryan and Nora in their new house. They have all these foam pads on the ground so that when the babies fall. they don't get hurt. Nora is VERY active - she walks with assistance, crawls all over the place and pulls herself to a stand VERY easily. Hunter is on the verge of crawling and sometimes Nora climbs on him. I guess being on all fours can make you look like a stool?
They live close to Balboa park, so we had an outing to the park. Hunter and Nora swung together on the swings - how cute are they?

On my birthday i got to open a present from hunter. He got me a beautiful picture frame with a sweet sentiment about being a mommy. It was really cute.
Aunty Vicki, Uncle Nate and cousin Tessa watched Hunter while Mommy and Daddy went on a date. Yes, a real date. Mommy did not want to hold Hunter all through dinner at her favorite restaurant, so we left him with his Aunt and Uncle and went to dinner. It was wonderful to just be able to talk to Brian without the baby hanging onto me (although I really don't mind him hanging onto me 99% of the time). We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and then couldn't wait to get back to see our little guy.

On Tuesday morning before the Farmer's market Bridget and I were planning on going for a walk. Lucky for us, Liz and Brittaney joined us. Then Scarlet woke up from a nap and Betsey joined us. On the way to get Betsey, we ran into Karen. So, the 6 of us proceeded on a walk before we went to stuff our faces at the Farmer's market!
Oops - these are a little bit out of order, but on monday ar My Gym, Hunter wanted to play with beautiful Devyn. His new favorite thing is to pet his friends, much the same way he pets the dogs. Here, he is petting Devyn.
Denny is 9 days younger than Hunter and his Mom is actually my age! Hunter and Denny have fun playing together because they're on the same (exact) developmental path. When Hunter does something, Denny comes in doing the same thing the following week.

Please excuse this late blog. My brother was in town and wasn't able to spend much time at home with us because he's interviewing for residency positions. Every spare minute I had was spent either running errands or playing with Jeff. I will have some pictures of Jeff and Hunter to post next week.
I can't believe I'm 27!!! Time sure does fly. Countdown: 2 weeks until I get to see my Gramma, papa, aunts, uncles and cousins!! I am SOOOO excited to show off my little man!
