Hunter is obsessed with the camera (much like his parents), but he likes to suck on it. In this first picture he is attacking the camera because he wants to put it in his mouth. In the other photo he is so proud of himself that he is cruising around, holding onto the gate and stair spindles. How can you not just LOVE this little face?!

At mommy n me on Wednesday Hunter was playing with his buddy, Lochner. What a sweet boy! Hunter took some of his toys (bully!) and he didn't even mind sharing. Lochner is more of an observer, whereas Hunter is an explorer.

After all of that exploring he needed a nap! He passed out at mommy n me class.

The remainder of the pictures are from our weekend in Catalina. We went with the Burkes which was SO much fun! Traveling with another couple really takes your relationship to the next level because you're together 24/7. It was SO much fun though! On the way Hunter fell asleep in the car for about 10 minutes. Then he thought he was rested (which he was NOT). Anyhow, he was up for the rest of the day.

On the way to the boat Hunter was sleepy, so he cuddled with mommy a little bit. What a cute little cuddler. He is NEVER this calm and cuddly, so it was a real treat.

Morgan and Keagan enjoying Keagan's first boat ride. He was such a trooper.

We finally got to the house and the boys were ready to play. Not nap. Play. Very important difference there :-)
On Saturday morning they took a bath together...kind of. Anyhow, Hunter really enjoyed having a bathing buddy and I'm sure he'll be excited when he has a sibling to bathe with him.

The boys...being boys.

Saturday morning I got to double-hip the babies. I guess I'm ready for another one!

Brian and I took a picture just the two of us. Since when does that happen? Well, the baby was sleeping and Morgan was nice enough to take a picture of the couple. It's SO important (and so difficult) to be a couple and not just be parents. I always love the moments Brian and I have together when Hunter is sleeping. I also love the time we have as a whole family though :-)
Can you tell I like him a little bit?
This is my new favorite picture because I feel like Brian captured the love we have for one another. He also captured how obsessed Hunter is with my mouth lately!

The beautiful Burke family.

Me loving my little guy
See, Keagan is such an easy baby. He just looks at the camera and smiles. He sits in one place and plays with toys. He has to be the most easy-going baby ever. This child barely even cries! Hunter is definitely much more active and has a really strong personality. But what would you expect given the parents he has?!
We took the chance to enjoy the beautiful afternoon sun and take lots and lots of pictures. I thought so many of them were good that I wanted to put a bunch on the blog.

Keagan and Hunter are sharing Puffs. Hunter can actually hold himself up on the stroller! He's getting so strong. I've noticed him trying to move his straight legs into a standing position. Now he stands up using things (bookshelves, me, the dog, whatever) but I think he might do it on his own soon!

The casino.
Hunter was enjoying a ride on my back. Especially when I jumped up and down for him.

"When is she going to jump again?"

"Yay!!"
Bridget helping me feed the little man. "Yummy!" he says. Speaking of feeding him, he got a little bit better this weekend. Then it occurred to me, maybe I am just feeding him things he doesn't like. So I decided to go back to the #2 jars, which are simpler flavors. What do you know? He loves it! Today he has eaten 2 1/2 jars of food, plus some oatmeal, an ENTIRE blueberry bagel from Noah's and plenty of milk. Maybe we'll get some weight on him afterall.

The serious face. He wasn't thrilled that we woke him up from his nap (after 2 hours!). It was harder to get a smiley face that day than it usually is.

Brian became obsessed with photographing Keagan because he was smiling so easily, whereas Hunter had a mind of his own - and he did NOT want to do what Daddy said. Keagan is so cute though - I'm glad we took lots of photos of him.

I love the irony that Hunter was named after his Great-Grandmother, Hazel and he has hazel eyes. It couldn't be more perfect. In some lights they look more brown, in other lights more green. All in all, he has SUCH beautiful eyes! I love looking into them (when he keeps his head still for about 3 seconds).

Sharing? or fighting? I'd like to think they're sharing :-)

In the back of the golf cart.

Love this coat! He doesn't often get to wear it, but it was quite chilly on Saturday evening.

Pajama party!

H: "See, I'm almost out. There, there, baldy."
K: "This is the secret sign for you know what."
H: "Man, they keep interfering with my escape plan."
K: "Just sit here and it will be over faster. I want to play with the Ladybug book!"
K: "Ok, now just SIT!"

H: "Woo-hoo!! All done! We're freeeeeee."
K: "You're always going to be getting us into trouble, aren't you?"
H: "This winning smile will get us out of anything. They can't be mad at us. Look how much they kiss us!"
K: "Whatever you say. I'm looking for a way off of here."

On the boat ride back, Daddy held the little guy for awhile.
This was an awesome week. I learned a lot of things about the little one this week. He really likes food and is very hungry, but doesn't really like complex foods. He will eat off of a spoon if he likes what we're feeding him. He and Keagan are going to be buddies for life. Baby poops do eventually turn into turds - which makes it A LOT easier to clean them. Every baby is more different than you can imagine.
We were sad to miss 2 first birthday parties this weekend. We hope that Nora Snow and Andrew Ryan had wonderful birthday parties! We love you even though we weren't there to celebrate with you.
And a VERY important birthday - Happy birthday Bridget! We hope you enjoyed your birthday weekend.
This week should be pretty low key, but I'll try to take all the pictures I can!
