Brian and I planned this trip 6 months ago. Every time I had a bad day, I would calculate how many days left until we go to Vegas! To say I've been "counting down" would be putting it lightly. We got an incredible deal at the Encore, which included show tickets to see La Reve. So, the first night we went to dinner at SW, a well known steakhouse and then we went to La Reve.
Brian and I are "foodies" and love exploring high end restaurants. He loves steak and I like to see what else steakhouses can make :-) Steak upsets my stomach in my old age. Anyhow, this restaurant was really amazing and we are hard to impress. On top of the great service and yummy food, there was show every 30 minutes in the lake next to the restaurant. They gave us an awesome table because we told them how we snuck away for a weekend alone.
VEGAS! Relaxed! This smile didn't leave my face for the entire weekend.
One of the shows. So funny. These ball
Here we are in the lobby of the Wynn.
And at dinner.
I have to learn how to make this! It's an apple crostata with cheddar cheese baked into the crust. DELISH!
A giant frog singing Friends in low place. One of the "shows".
Before heading to the show - at 9:30 pm! Who goes to shows that late?! Haha.
Outside of Le Reve theater. It was a cool show in a round theater. There was lots of water, snychronized swimming/dancing and other neat tricks. We enjoyed it!
Le Reve tickets.
On Saturday we had a really incredible day. I won't go into too many details about it, but it was one of the happiest days of my recent adult life! After lunch we went to the Forum to walk around. Brian talked me into a frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity.
At the Forum

On Saturday night we went to The Cut by Wolfgang Puck. I think this is his favorite restaurant. He has bone marrow flan in front of him - a favorite.
Then we got our tickets for the Tim McGraw/Faith Hill Soul 2 Soul tour. Oh my gosh! Besides getting away with Brian, this is what I was the MOST excited about doing. We had SO much fun. We were sitting in row K, which meant we were 11 rows from the stage. It was amazing. They are quite a power couple.
Us at our seats
Wooohooooo!
Yup! That's Faith Hill! They opened with "Hey Baby let's go to Vegas!" That was one of the first songs I loved when I started listening to country music when I was 16.
There they are!!!
Singing "I need you" - it was spectacular.
Us at the stage afterwards.
On our way out of the concert....we got back to our room by 1 and stayed up reading until 2 am! Who am I?! I never stay up that late! I LOVE Tim McGraw. Faith Hill has a spectacular voice, but Tim is a real performer. I give this tour 2 thumbs up!
A video of them signing.
