Jackson Hole for Landon's 4th birthday!!!

Last year for his birthday Landon asked if he could go skiing.  Sadly, Jackson books up about a year in a dance (at least through our timeshares it does). We looked into going a few other places, but in the end we decided to just make sure we could take him skiing this year for his birthday. If he isn't THE most spoiled 4 year old in the whole entire world, I don't know who is.  He skied 4 days, went sledding 3 days, went swimming 5 days, went stargazing with a guy who has his Ph.D. in Astrophysics, went on a sleigh ride in the elk preserve and went tubing.  I think this little guy had the week of his lifetime. And he deserves it! You only turn 4 once!
Sledding in the backyard!! Happy boys!

Glee.  The only word to describe Landon on a sled. Or skis. Or in the snow.

Unsure. Hunter is not as carefree as Landon. He looks very nervous until he gets to the bottom of the hill and then he smiles. He's such a cautious kid.

 Ski school!
Aspen and I got to hang out everyday while the boys went skiing! We went swimming, shopping and exploring. We had so much fun! I love hanging out with my little sidekick.
I was so excited to see my little guy ski!
And this little man too! They are both almost a level 5 now!  I can't believe how quickly they catch onto skiing!

She doesn't love sledding. But she REALLY wanted to try it!

She DOES love swimming, however. Amazing little girl loves to jump in and swim to us in the middle of the pool!
 My sweet cutie boy!
Homework. Everyday. So. Painful.  Brian and I would switch off halfway through.
Stargazing. They sent up an incredible dinner: charcuterie, cheese, bread, homemade jam, steak, elk chili, and various other foods were delivered to our room before stargazing!

Going to a private room for stargazing.

When we got there, smores tarts and hot chocolate were waiting for us!
Hunter is somewhat obsessed with space, so it was amazing to see all that we could see with Ryan, the Astronomer. We got to see 4 of the moons around Jupiter and the bands/rings around it! Cool!

Aspen watched the iPad while the rest of us were stargazing.
Homework. Again.  We were all thrilled.
She wanted to go outside. Naked. Constantly.

Such a fun time! They found shovels and wanted to shovel snow. I'm sure a lot of kids would trade places with them.

Aspen loves Hunter. She wanted to hold his hand. They are too cute together.
And Hunter and Landon are best buddies. I love watching the dynamics between my kids.

Daddy and Aspen. Aspen fell asleep snugging in his arms.

Saying "hi" to the horses after the sleigh ride.

We found a half buried play structure. Who is so thrilled?!
 Go Landon go!

We spent an afternoon up on the mountain having lunch. It was a nice time.

Brian! He's really becoming an awesome skier!
The boys went skiing! How cute!
Landon turned 4! 4! What a big boy! So proud of our sweet little guy.
Chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, eggs and cheese and fruit for breakfast!
Chocolate mousse off of his cake.
Aspen was bored of watching the boys tube.  She found a great rock to sit on while she was watching the boys.

 Happy Daddy!

The 3 boys going down together.

Homemade steak, broccoli and rice dinner.  All of Landon's favorites!
And chocolate mousse cake! For his birthday! We had such an amazing trip! Landon was a happy camper - so was everyone else! I can't wait to go back next year and ski with my amazing boys (and tube and sled and do all the other fun things that I can't do with this big belly!)
