My brother got married in May! We flew up to Portland and then drove up to Mt. Hood, where they got married in a little tiny hut at Timberline Lodge. We went to the rehearsal dinner on Friday night. Despite Maisy being a nightmare (she screamed and cried the whole time), we had so much fun. Look at these 2 trouble makers.
This is me rocking Maisy inside the hut. The photographers took this photo. Cute, huh? Here are some of the professional pictures of the bridesmaids. Additional photos are mixed with pictures from my phone.
Me and my girl. Maisy was not happy at the wedding and missed the majority of the ceremony and pictures. Best decisions I made was to have a babysitter for her all day long! The sitter handled her SO well and I was grateful not to be distracted by her so much.
My Vegas shoes.
Cute ringbearers
Maisy's debut.
I got to hug them first after the ceremony!
We didn't take a picture together at the wedding, so I cropped this one. Cute, huh?
Rehearsal dinner
My handsome boys
We had to take a snowcat to get to and from the ceremony and rehearsal dinner. It was quite an adventure.
Hunter had to carry this big box with a bottle of wine down the aisle! He was so strong and such a trooper! (See Maisy throwing a fit in the background).
Learning to play fiddle
My Dad and I finally danced at a wedding. We thought it was hilarious and totally inappropriate that we danced to "When a man loves a woman." It was a good time. I really enjoyed hanging out with my Dad and Kathey and my brother and Sarah (when they weren't too busy.)
Hunter turned 7. He is such an amazing kid. I think under 2 and over 7 are my favorite ages :-D Hunter is so helpful and fun. He can read. He thinks for himself. He is smart. He's able to play more games and do more things just because he is older. We had a big party for Hunter at Pump it Up! It had a glow in the dark room, which was awesome!
I'm super proud of my cute boy.
I love this girl. Especially when she's sleeping. Actually, she is sleeping through the night now and it has made her SO much more pleasant during the day. Imagine that? She was waking up 6-8 times a night and now she isn't. Yay! We are both happier now.
We went to Scottsdale at the end of the month. We celebrated our 14 year anniversary of playing together. We had so much fun sitting by the pool.
This is my cute little Maisy. She has a very strong will. We call her "spirited". At this moment, she was insisting on wearing her Daddy's socks. How cute is that?
My kids are all super fun and at fun ages. I love them to pieces and am so looking forward to a busy and fun summer!!!!
