When Brian and I went away for our 10 year wedding anniversary, we had so much fun that we thought we had to do it again. Actually, we were thinking it needs to be an annual thing! So, while in Hawaii we booked this trip to Bora Bora. He's been wanting to return since the Four Seasons opened and I am a sucker for anything that makes Brian happy....so off we went! He snagged Business class seats with miles and that was worth it! We slept all night and woke up in Papeete. We learned 10 years ago that there is absolutely nothing to do there, so we flew out 3 hours later to the gorgeous island of Bora Bora!

When you land in Bora Bora, there is no parking lot. There are boats, waiting to take you to your respective hotel <3 p="" swoon=""> And this tractor brings your luggage to you from the airplane.
Here was our ride. A neat little wooden boat that Brian adored.
We got lei'd twice within hours of being in Tahiti and we knew we were off to a good start!
The General Manager was told ahead of time that we were coming and upgraded our room several categories, so we had an incredible view. (The bungalows are all the same but the view differs immensely).
This is the inter lagoon, where they have an exobiologist on staff to try to revive coral and fish. Numbers are dropping because of the El Nino.
This is my favorite spot on the entire property. Brian and I spent hours there every day. We both planned one ealing tons, but instead spent hours just talking to each other. We never ran out of things to say. It was very special.
We each had this for lunch like, almost everyday. It's a Caesar salad with mahi mahi (or whatever the catch of the day was) and it was $29. We were hungry an hour later. Our $7 Diet Coke (no refills) didn't help.
This little island is amazingly cute and you can wade out to it from the beach.
Laying in the hammock.
View from the hammock.
Cutie in the hammock.
Then it was time to jump in the lagoon!!!
"Flex your back" resulted in this picture. I'm so awkward.
Just hanging out, on our ladder.
Cutie's turn to swim! I basically made him go ;-)
Our seats on the beach. Oh it was too perfect.
Fishes!
This is the wild side of the island. So gorgeous.
On Tuesday we had massages! They were amazing!
Dinner! Crab cake, shrimp, ahi with wontons and something else. It was delicious.
I had mahi mahi in vanilla sauce (Taha'a is one of the biggest producers of vanilla.) Brian had yellowfin with some other sauce. Mine was the winner.
Good morning. Soft morning light.
We worked out 6/8 days there. I think it was a pretty good average!
Crabs everywhere!
Brian bought me these cute swimsuits and then he wanted to photograph me in them.
Fresh coconut every morning for breakfast! Mmmm!
This was my first time paddle boarding and I LOOOOVED it!
Spa hot tub <3 ild="" p="" side="">
Massage time!
My engagement dress. It was fun to wear it again.
Ahi chessboard. Not that good, but nice presentation.
Yellowtail tuna with grilled pineapple.
B had the lobster thermidor
Yea! Let's go swimming with sharks and stingrays.
I asked the guy to take a picture and he said "Just a minute" and then he threw chum in the water behind us and started snapping away! Oh. My. Goodness!
Don't mind the sharks behind us!
Such graceful, gentle creatures.
Oh that smile. Gets me every time.
SHARK!
Ok. Dozens of sharks. In 3 feet of water.
Ain't no thang. (Trying to warm up because they didn't supply towels.)
More fish! Fish every meal. I love fish.
Brian got me this new dress for the trip. I think it's pretty cute.
Appetizers. All fish. All the time!
Brian had duck breast.
I had fish and veggies.
Working out.
Bora Lova
So so cute
More fish and fruit. Plus asparagus. I was so hungry at this point in the trip that I started eating bread. haha.
Just floating around.
Vanilla beans and bananas at the fanciest restaurant in Bora Bora.

Loving my love. Oh these times are just so good for us.
B insisted on these pictures So cute.
Oh this face. It has my heart.
Our favorite waitress made this for us. It was such a special experience to be there. We loved every minute together, but it was also nice to go home to the kiddos. Oh how I love my husband.
