Feeling nostalgic

Tuesday will mark Landon's 7th birthday. It is hard for me to imagine that my tiny baby boy is going to be 7 years old. He was my biggest baby, at 7 lbs 4 ounces. It's ironic, really, because he's my smallest child (by percentile). He was SO wanted and he is SO loved.  He's a feisty boy. He doesn't love change or vegetables. He's most comfortable with things he knows well. He finds safety in family and familiarity. He prefers 1 or 2 friends to a room full of friends. He doesn't like to be the center of attention. He is kind and caring and full of love for those close to him, but he doesn't really take any flack from anyone.
He enjoys golfing, swimming, skiing, tubing, exploring, hiking, being outdoors, learning about animals (especially cats and tigers). He loves his friends and misses them when we are away, but it takes some time for him to warm back up to them when we are together.  He is super smart, but doesn't like to express it. He doesn't love to read, but has no trouble writing. He's a perfectionist in everything he does and would rather not do something, than do it in a less than perfect manner.  He's sweet and fun and still loves to curl up in my lap, hold my hand and tell me how much he loves me.  Pregnant with Landon
