Today I went to the doctor and am cleared (off of pelvic rest). I'm really excited. Starting tomorrow I'm going roller-blading on the Strand and exercising down in the garage. I'm determined to lose this weight! I want to lose 20-25 but only 7 of it is pregnancy weight.
Brian and I continue to fall madly in love with our little boy. In fact, I'm pretty sure that I will take a leave of absence from school this year to stay home with him. The idea of going back already is awful. I don't know how women can do it. I think the only way I won't take a leave of absence is if they will let me continue my research but not see clients or take classes or do the internship year. So basically I wouldn't complete the clinical program. I'm meeting with Joe (my old advisor) to talk to him about what I should do. This little guy is just too cute! Any thoughts on this?
Ok, so here are some pictures from the last week:
This position is what we call "Super Baby" because he can straighten his whole body like he's flying.

Letting Nala visit Hunter
Look at those eyes!
We went for lunch with another couple who have a daughter, Addison, who was born 3 days before Hunter. She's a bit bigger than him, but she's super cute!
Hunter has started sitting up in his Bumbo chair that Jen gave him. Thanks Aunty Jen!
Aunt Donna and Jen left on Wednesday afternoon. Before they left we had to take them to Pinkberry - which they loved.
Brian and his super cool baby
He's too cool
About to go in the water for the first time! We'll see how it goes.
He did NOT like the flotation device and much prefers that Mommy hold him. In addition, he doesn't like the coldness of the 87 degree pool but he did like the 98 degree jacuzzi
Me and my baby
Jeff and Holly came to meet their nephew! We went out for dinner where Jeff ordered a fruity girly drink - a strawberry mojito!
Hunter wants to see Uncle Jeff
Hunter is hiding his cute little face to keep warm
I'm SOOOOO cute!

Uncle Jeff feeding baby Hunter
Uncle Jeff giving love to Miss Nala. What a fantastic Uncle!
Aunt Holly entertaining Hunter. He can see strong contrasts, so he really enjoys looking at the fan against the ceiling
At dinner...with a little spit up on my shirt. It's Mommy pride :-)
