Happy 3rd anniversary!!

Today is our third wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful day together. We started out at the gym and then went to the pediatrician. Hunter got 2 more vaccinations. They were put in each thigh, and the second one was very painful for him. It was really sad and it took a few minutes to calm him down afterwards. He weighed in at 12 lbs 4 ozs, which puts him in the 12th percentile for weight. He was 23 1/4 inches long, which keeps him in the 50th percentile for height.

After lunch in L.A. we drove down to Laguna to visit the spot where we got married. It was at this point that Hunter got really upset about the shots. We only got to spend 20 minutes at the Ritz-Carlton and Hunter screamed the entire time. When we got back to the car (where my big diaper bag was with all of my "tricks"), I took off Hunter's pants and saw the problem: his right thigh was red and inflamed. Poor baby!! I gave him some baby Tylenol and some gas-ex for babies. I tried to feed him, but he wasn't having it. Within about 40 minutes he calmed down...just in time for us to arrive at the Montage where we went to Studio for dinner.

Hunter remained in his stroller. After he freaked out at the Ritz Carlton, we thought it was in everyone's best interest to keep him calm and relaxed. How cute is he, peeking out of his stroller?
At dinner we were looking out at the beautiful water (which is washed out in the light). Hunter slept through the entire dinner and was a little angel.
Studio provided us with a yummy German Chocolate cake. I won't tell you what my wish was, but dinner was fantastic!

A wonderful 3rd anniversary was had by all! I am more in love with Brian than ever and I am SO happily married. Best decision I ever made :-) Of course, having Hunter has been our highlight so far - but we have a lifetime of highlights to look forward to!
