Week 12! ALREADY!!

Yesterday Hunter turned 12 weeks old! One week from today he will be 3 months. It is so amazing to watch out little man grow and change. This week he is getting much closer to rolling over intentionally. He almost has it but he's not QUITE there yet. He also opens his hands more instead of having them balled up in little fists. This allows him to feel more textures, so I have him petting the dogs whenever possible. He uses his hands a lot more, which is good and bad. He likes to "hold" his bottle and remove his pacifier from his mouth. He reaches for things and grabs, but we're not sure it's intentional. At dinner the other night he picked up the straw out of my drink and held it for a few minutes, but I don't think he knew it was in his hand. Of course, putting him in front of the mirror results in a few minutes of curiosity, followed by gigglinhg. He likes to reach out for the little stud in front of him, only to feel a cold hard surface (the mirror). It's fun to watch though!

This week started with a pool party. The 6 of us who hang out a lot had a lot of fun hanging out and enjoying the beach weather.

This is before people came over to play... Hunter had to nap to be sure he was prepared....
Mindy (Jasmine) and Ashley (Alexander) are ready for a dip.
This is Karen and Annabelle. Annabelle insisted on nursing the entire time, so Karen didn't go in the pool.
Babies EVERYWHERE!
On Tuesdays we go to the Farmer's Market in the village and have lunch together. This is Ryan and Nora in Metlox plaza. A funny story: I was playing with Hunter and I lifted him HIGH over my head. It was at that moment that he decided to spit up...right down my shirt! There were 3 businessmen sitting behind us who saw the whole thing and started laughing. We went home and took a bath, but it was funny none-the-less!

Ready for a fun day on the town! We're always in a GREAT mood after our nap.
Sitting up in bed (with the support of the pillows). Doesn't he look presidential?
On Friday we went for a walk on the Strand, and had wine on the beach with some other people and their babies. This is Brittany and Wilder. Our intention was to watch the sunset, but it was too overcast for a sunset...
Rhett, Ryan and Nora. How cute is the owl hat?
Hunter in the Bjorn while Brian and I enjoy time with the adults. Hunter loves to sleep in that thing!

Hunter in his first baseball hat! I know he's growing because he no longer fits into a lot of his 0-3 month clothes. His baseball hat finally fits! His head used to be too small for any hats.
Saturday night we went out with Kaew and Eric for a "business dinner". Here is Hunter sitting like a big guy at the table.

Hunter is in his 3-6 month clothes. This is an adorable outfit that Aunty Alex got for him. We love the polo outfits with the preppy collars and cute khakis. He looked like quite the stud!

Brian and I spent the day by the pool. Here's the little guy in his swim shirt.

Look at that tushy!!!

On Sunday night we went to Riverside so he could meet Nick and Sara. Evidently he found them to be funny. Ok, ok, he was actually super intrigued by the silverware at the moment...isn't that a cute smile?!
This is the Taft chair. When President Taft went to the Mission Inn in Riverside they made him a special chair (because he was so large). He was so offended that he refused to sit in it. As you can see, it was a spacious chair!
Hunter in the Taft chair. Talk about Presidential!!

He FINALLY fits in this outfit! I bought it when I was like 6 months pregnant. Look at that little grin...he's totally going to be a Ladies Man!
This week brings a lot of fun. Tuesday we have our first set of professional photos taken. On Thursday Kim, Katie and Zoe come into town!! I can't wait to see them. In the meantime, Brian and I are going to the gym and enjoying living in this amazing beach town.

Have a fantastic week!

Love this post! I can see big changes in President George and he looks adorable in that polo and khakis! :) You are looking great, too Trish...I am seriously impressed at how fast you've lost the baby weight and will be asking for pointers someday! xoxo
