Last week was very busy. We went to USC for Vaffeldagen with my lab, but left Hunter home with the sitter so that he could enjoy the park instead of behave himself in lab. On Wednesday we had Landon's doctor appt and on Thursday we went to the Grove with Gramma. Gramma, or Meema, as Hunter calls her, was quite taken with the little guys. She mostly got to hold Hunter, because Landon is in a very mom-centric stage. Hunter got to pet some bunnies that were out getting ready for Easter. We all had a great time.
Scoops loves to suck on his fist!
The weekend before we saw Meema, they came over for dinner. "They" includes "Meema" and "Peepaw" or Grandpa. We all went to the park together and then had dinner at our new favorite restaurant, Cafe Rio.
Landon has become the biggest smiler. All you have to do is look at him and coo, and he does it right back at you.

My Mom's club hired an Easter bunny to come to the park and pose with our kids. Then we had an Easter egg hunt for the little guys. Hunter thought this was the neatest thing ever.
Daddy met us at the park and played with Hunter on the swings.
Daddy took some photos with his good camera. Hunter, being the little entertainer that he is, put the funnel on his head in the tub.
Hunter has been testing my limits so much lately. I think it's because he doesn't sleep well at night so he pushes his limits even more during the day. He does things like:
Clears his plate by throwing everything on the floor
Empties any container he can find (tonight it was the parmesan cheese)
Says "Mommy" about 10,000 times daily - but not for any reason
Throws everything he can
Hits me or his brother
Refuses to sleep or eat what I have to give to him, but will take food from others
I know that in time we will work through the difficulty of being two, but for now he is really challenging me. I hope he outgrows this quickly because I miss my sweet little boy - and am struggling with the little monster who is rearing his head. I love the monster too, he's actually kind of funny if I take a step back and look at it from an outsider's perspective.
This weekend will be a lot of fun. On Saturday Meema and Peepaw are coming over for an egg hunt in the backyard and dinner to celebrate Brian turning 30! On Sunday we are celebrating Easter with our best family friends, the Burkes. We are so blessed to have met them.
Happy Easter to everyone!!!
