Week 5

Another fabulous week came and went with our beautiful sons.  These are pictures from last week, I have yet to upload pictures of week 6.  It is SO hard to believe that Landon has been here for 6 weeks.  In some ways I cannot imagine life without him and in other ways he seems brand new.  He is growing way too fast.  He's out of his newborn clothes and fully in his 0-3 month clothes.  I anticipate he will outgrow them long before he hits 3 months.  He is a chunky little baby, with 5 rolls between his crotch and his knee!  I love each of thos elittle fat rolls.  He sleeps like an angel, sometimes giving me up to 5 hours in a row.  I couldn't ask for a sweeter, easier baby.

Hunter is still adjusting to life with Landon.  He steals his pacifiers (not out of his mouth, but if he finds one he won't give it back!).  He climbs into Landon's bassinet and constantly wants to be held.  I think he's mourning the loss of being the "baby" of the family - but he will ALWAYS be my baby.  He still adores Landon and always hugs and kisses him and asks to "hull" him - with outstretched arms.  When asked "where is your baby?" he proudly smiles and points at Landon.  I can tell these two will be great friends.

Hunter's language has really taken off in the last few weeks.  It's amazing how quickly he is learning everything.  He said his first 3 word sentence the other day "I like it" in reference to whole wheat pasta and marinara sauce.  I'm glad we're raising him to eat healthy!

Brian and I have joined Weight Watchers.  They have a program for nursing moms, so I'm doing that and it makes me feel good to know I'm getting the nutrients I need to feed Landon while (hopefully) shedding these 20 pounds.

Here is the handsome little man

This is Hunter's best buddy, Keagan.
Family photo.  When did I start saying "cheese" in photographs?  Maybe after Hunter did!

Sleeping so soundly
