Landon's birthday party

Landon turned 2! My sweet little boy has learned how to express himself with words, he speaks so clearly for a 2 year old.  He is so sweet and cuddly and such a Mama's boy, although he loves his daddy too.  He's kind to his brother and always wants to play with him, even when he isn't nice to Landon.  When Hunter goes to school, Landon walks around the house saying "Hunter! Hunter! School?  School?" It's absolutely adorable.  He loves big kids more than kids his own age, especially the McPhie boys (James and William).  He (evidently) does not like to be the center of attention, as he did not like the part of the birthday party when they paraded him around in front of everyone singing "Happy birthday."

He is in 75th percentile for his head, 70th percentile for height and 45th percentile for weight.  He is in great health except for his eczema.  So sad.  We have to go to an allergist because of the recurring ear infections and eczema.  I pray that if he has allergies, he outgrows them.

Ok - now for the awesome party pictures! It was at My Gym on a Saturday and there were 27 kids there! Whoa was it busy! Cafe Rio catered, and it was a big hit.  There was a snafu with the cake....Uncle Jeff (quiet) picked up the cake and brought it to the party.  It was a hot pink Barbie car when it should have been Thomas the Train.  Uncle Jason went back to the bakery to get it fixed and he showed up right on time (6:15) for cake time and singing happy birthday.

This is Megan and her adorable daughter, Kate.  We spend about 3 afternoons a week with them and it is AWESOME.
My good buddy Deanna - pregnant with her second boy!
My little monkey! He's upside down coming down a slide. Crazy kid.
Brian did the first circle time with the boys. They had so much fun.
 The adorable Hall family
Landon was beginning to get overwhelmed and overstimulated.
The crazy boys - James, Hamilton, Kieran and Hunter
Megan, Jennie and my amazing Aunt Chi Chi!!  I loved having her here and am hoping she moves closer so I can see her more.  The boys adore aunt Chi Chi SO much!
Kim and Ben - such awesome friends.  I think we are their birth control.
My boys love to play together.  They are so cute.
It was quite a scene.  QUITE A Scene.
Angie, Brendt and Fiona (Kai - not pictured) came to the party from San Diego.  Such good friends! It was so much fun to see them.
Isla and Hunter have been in love since they first met.  What cute kids they are.

Landon was riding the train at his train themed birthday party.  So cute.
Hunter is riding the train.  So adorable.
And with the hat! Our little conductor.
 Puppet time.
This was not Landon's favorite part.  They were parading him around on this little car and he was NOT happy about it.
I tried to convince him that it was ok, but he wasn't buying it. So I picked him up and paraded him around myself.
 Most of the kids.
 My cute little explorer.

Aunt Chi Chi and adorable Aspen.  The next day we found out Aspen was SO sick. She had croup, an ear infection and thrush.  We still have thrush, 2 weeks later! Poor kid.
His cutie pie Thomas the Train cake.
I got to sit with him during the puppet show.  What a sweet boy.
 Woohoo!
Bubble time at the end. The kids favorite part.

Singing happy birthday.  Being a typical 2 yr old, he wouldn't look.  With Hunter as a typical 3 year old, he wouldn't join us for the picture.
 WISH! and blow....

Landon with Gaby when we first got there.

 Aspen, enjoying the birthday.
Fiona, having a blast! Such a cute girl.
 Our big monkey.
 The Barbie car.
Rachel and Landon - he just LOVES her.

 Me and my baby.
 Chi Chi and Meema
 Landon enjoying his food
Um.  She is ridiculously cute. SO cute.
 And the smile.
I am so lucky to be the mommy of these 3 kids.  I absolutely adore them.  Landon is a kind, sweet soul.  Hunter is SO much fun! Aspen is just so cuddly and sweet. Life is good.

Happy birthday Landon! He's looking so grown up!

Hope Aspen is feeling better. Thrush sounds like a total pain. :(
