Last weekend we went to Las Vegas. We go infrequently and hadn't been there in about 17 months! It was SO much fun to see old friends. We drove into town and Tiffany, who I've known since I was 5 drove up to the hotel to see us. I hadn't seen her in so long - Landon was just a baby the last time! The boys were a bit wild after being cooped up in the car for so long. Aspen was thrilled to be out of the carseat!
And Hunter adores his little sister. All 3 of my goobers in bed with me. See that smile? That's a happy Mommy.
Tiffany and Aspen! Tiff is engaged!! And she is excited to make some Goobers of her own!
Me and Tiff. My jeans fit. That might be my favorite part of this picture.
Tiff and Jose - the lucky, lucky man.
That night we went to a rehearsal dinner. It was so different from anything we've done before. We dropped our kids off at the neighbor's house (who none of us knew) and went next door for dinner and fun. The boys had a blast at the neighbor's house so maybe we should do it more often! Baby Andrew (Jen's son) was in love with sweet little Aspen. These are our little babies together. Andrew is 6 months.
Jen, Katy and Nick did a "cheer" for Stephanie and Seth. It was probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I hope you can get a feel for how adorable they were. And funny.
The girls.
The boys were so excited about their sleeping arrangements! They didn't get to bed until almost 10 that night. Landon slept until 9:30 the next morning, so we missed breakfast. He was a tired pumpkin.
This is how we sleep every night. I love sleeping snuggled so close to my babies.
And this was Landon sleeping in the morning. Sweet boy.
We went to the Temple to see the family and take photos with the bride and groom. Aspen was pretty excited about it.
And every lady needs a fancy coat. Doesn't she look like such a princess?! I can't handle it.
The Temple.
Hunter was reunited with Daniel (Jen's eldest - will be 5 in June). James is Daniel's little brother and pretty much followed them around, as did Landon.
Landon found a butterfly and was quite upset when it flew away.
You wouldn't know that these two see each other so rarely. They get along like peas and carrots.
And Tommy, Katy's son, just turned 4. Tommy and Daniel are cousins and spend considerably more time together so I was worried about Hunter being left out. Obviously, my worry was for naught. The 3 Musketeers had so much fun running around like crazy.
Cute boys.
Stephanie and Seth. Stephanie is probably the most beautiful bride I have ever seen. The dress, the hair, the veil - and her. Just amazingly gorgeous. She also has such an innocent, kind spirit that it's nice to be around her. Her husband is as sweet as pie and they are going to have a happy eternity together.
The dip!
Gorgeous, right?
Our little family at the temple. It was COLD outside!
Me, Aspen, Jen and Andrew
Then we went to the Bigler's house for lunch. Andrew was still in love with Aspen. We thought it was pretty cute.
He'll do anything to get her attention!
The sisters - Jen, Stephanie and Katy. These 3 girls are So beautiful inside and out. I love knowing their family.
The bride's mom arranged for babysitting for us. We left the boys but brought Aspen with us to the reception. Aspen needed a change of clothes. I think she is glowing in this.
At the reception
A friend was holding her and her sweet little face was too cute!
Me and Jen again. I was laughing at home much my dress looked like a bridesmaid dress! Oops.
Me and my extremely handsome husband. I was the luckiest girl in the room :-)
Sally, Katy and Jen boogying with Lizzie. So sweet.
We got back to the room to 2 sleeping boys. I moved Landon's foot off of Hunter's head and passed out. it was a long, fun day.
Hunter got up super early the next day and was a bit of a mess, so we went home in the morning. It was so much fun to see the Bigler family and to be a part of Stephanie's big day!
