Adventures in Florida - Great grandparents, Disney cruise and Disney World!

We've been on another trip! We went to Tampa to visit my grandparents for a few days.  They hadn't met Aspen and hadn't seen Landon since he turned 1! We were with them around his birthday last year.  It was so nice to see my family - as usual!  It's never long enough.  We had such a good time and we even got a half day with my Aunt Denise (Chi Chi) before she caught her flight home.
My boys had never really met a kitty before.  Landon LOVED Sugar and was so gentle with him.  He was so in love.
The boys also had a turn to play golf.  They'd never experienced that before and LOVED it.  In fact, Hunter talked about golfing for the remainder of the trip.  Thanks Aunt Chi Chi!
Arnold Palmer
Papa was fetching balls for Hunter.
Practicing putting it on a tee.  This was right after a red eye - that's why he's in his jammies!
Changed and tired.
But SO excited to see Aunt Donna!
Landon too - and the cars she got them didn't hurt either.  The first thing Hunter said to Aunt Donna was "are your teeth feeling better?" Such a sweet kid to remember.
Chi Chi and Aspen - we can't wait to see you next week!
Aunt Donna and Aspen
Papa LOVES girls.  He was so thrilled to finally have a great granddaughter.
And Great gramma was thrilled to have a baby to hold.  She had the magic touch and had Aspen asleep so quickly!
Aunt Donna made us a fabulous breakfast on Friday morning and then we went to the zoo (Thanks Gramma and Papa.)
Ready for fun at the zoo!
This is the only way Hunter gets carried  - when someone else is around to carry him! 43 pounds is a lot of Hunter to carry around (he's almost 48 inches too!)
Riding the carousel with Daddy.
My cousin Kevin, soon to be a Sheriff, came over to say hi and play golf with us.
The boys LOVED this game! So cute.
Great grandparents and babies - Papa, Hunter, Landon, Gramma and Aspen.
Cousins! Kenny, Me and Kevin.  Jenny - we missed you!! She's in the Navy in San Diego.
Hunter's new favorite thing to do is to make "Secret hideouts"...I won't say that this is a phase I am particularly fond of, but he loves it.  We constantly have the cushions pulled off the couch and a big mess (but happy kids - and that's what really matters, right?)
MICKEY!!! At Port Canaveral.  We left early Saturday morning to get on the ship.  We were checking in when we had our first captain Mickey sighting.
We met up with Jeff and Jason on the ship.  We were pretty sad that our "family trip" turned out the way it did.  My sister-in-law didn't come at the last minute, so just her husband and my niece came.  Jeff and Jason were on the late seating of dining so we saw them only once the whole cruise after this.
The sail away party.
Dinner! One of my favorite things about Disney cruise line was that we could just check the kids into nursery pretty easily.  On check-in day, Landon didn't take a nap.  He doesn't really like to sit at dinner anyways, so we dropped him off in nursery so he could play and we could eat.  It worked well!  We actually had 3 date nights and only took all 3 kids to dinner on 2 nights! We rotated the kids on the other nights so we only had 2 at a time.
In other developments I've started feeding Aspen.  She sits up straight on her own and watches my food like a hawk.  I gave her some soup and she went crazy when I fed the next bite to myself.  Right now she is yelling at me because she dropped a piece of turkey bacon.  If I don't give her food, she screams.  It's quite funny. It's not a cry so much as a "GIVE ME FOOD!"  I guess breast milk isn't cutting it!
Hunter was so curious about Aspen eating!
After dinner we saw Tessa and Nate.  Hunter was super excited to see Tessa.
The princess.
Ready for the pool! Can you tell that I LOVE to dress her!?
Nemo's reef was a super cute (shaded) splash pad.  They loved it in here
This is what happy looks like!
Uncle Nate watched Aspen for a few minutes by the pool.  He loves babies and is a really good uncle.
This is the splash pad for bigger kids - it's all Donald Duck themed.  Pretty cute.
Landon loves Minnie.  And everything else.  Sweetest kid.  EVER.
Pretty Tessa was playing in the Oceaneer's club - the kids area.  Hunter loved it in there so much that, the first morning that he woke up on the cruise before he even got out of bed I heard him say "I want to go to kids club!"
Formal night with my Princess.

Daddy looking dapper with the Princess.
So we boarded in Cape Canaveral and then we had a day at sea and then to Grand Cayman.  The next day we went to Costa Maya (pictures are further down) and then Cozumel.  Disney is the ONLY line that you can leave your kids onboard and leave the ship.  Brian and I took advantage of this, walking around in Grand Cayman with use Aspen, swimming with dolphins in Cozumel and ATVing in Costa Maya.  So much fun!

Dolphin hugs
Dolphin kisses (this is what happy looks like.)
Beautiful, friendly dolphins.

We came back to a very cute face.  How do I not hold her all the time?! She is so precious!
And Mickey Man.
Every morning hat we could we went to meet the characters.  Landon was mostly afraid, but did pose with a few characters.  This is Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates - a favorite.

The cousins (plus me because they wouldn't hold Aspen). Minus Sawyer because he stayed home with his mom.
Mickey!
Daisy!
Max and Goofy!
I put Aspen down in the splash pad and Landon thought it was the cool place to be.  She wasn't too sure about it.  The funniest thing was when they told me that nonpotty-trained kids couldn't be in the pool.  I told them he was potty trained.  There's no way I could keep Landon out of the pool for a week! He loved it!  I had a bit of a heart attack with how crowded it was, but the boys did well.

"I don't WANT TO WEAR A HAT!"  "Ok, we can go inside, if you prefer."

Freedom! We're on the tender to go to Grand Cayman with just the peanut.

I'm HARD core!

Nate!

Brian!

Ooh la la! This is where we ended up ATVing after going through a lot of mud and rocky terrain.  We were supposed to go to the beach but it was raining, so we just went back.
Brian looks bad to the bone!
Us.

Cutie patootie

What do you see, oh captain my captain?

Daddy/daughter nap
Hunter and his honing device (access to kid's club)

Naked baby! She's happiest when she's naked (kind of like Landon - thank goodness Hunter likes to be dressed!)
Family photo with Minnie
And Mickey
This was the last day of the cruise at Castaway Island.  We learned a very important fact: Chip has a chocolate chip nose and Dale's nose is more pink.
Waiting for the tram.
Dumbo painted the ship! He sure is a hard worker!

MoMore to come!
