This summer has been amazing. We have had so much fun playing in the pool every single afternoon. We have people over as often as possible because Hunter cries and carries on when it is "just Mommy" by the pool with him. I love how appreciated I am. Landon, on the other hand, love having Mommy around and could care less about friends. I think he likes Hunter having friends over so that he can have me all to himself. Here is my very serious swimmer. We will call him Little Phelps.

So, in the previous picture he was wearing clothes. That is hard to come by around here. Landon's favorite state seems to be naked. It's been good for potty-training, although the only places that he will pee are a.) bushes and b.) any body of water that does not include a potty (pool/hot tub/bathtub.) I can't resist this adorable tush though.
The princess eats everything. I have yet to give her some fruits (acidic), peanut butter, honey or chocolate. Her favorite food is mac n cheese and she will eat mass quantities of it. It helps her sleep her 12-15 hours at night. Is that insane? I think it's because I only give her one nap a day. Poor third baby. She's growing just fine though and is as happy as can be. Her new thing is that she wars herself up on all 4s, rocking, so I think we'll have a crawler pretty soon.We went to Pretend City with Bridget, Keagan, Wyatt and Baby #3 in her belly! Hunter and Keagan were like "peas and carrots again" as Forrest Gump says. They were inseparable. So cute.
Landon hung out in this car the whole time. My favorite part of this is his arm rested casually on the window. This kid was born to be cool.
And he's not afraid to get his feet dirty (where are his shoes? It took me 20 minutes to find them.)
Keagan, Wyatt and Hunter were building houses.
My 3 little monsters. They are so cute playing outside together.
And happy.
We had the Spjutes over for FHE. The boys had fun barely eating and playing.
Peeing, as mentioned earlier, into the pool. We should make a fountain out of him.
This is my friend Steph. She is amazing. Everyday she takes care of her 3 kids (aged 7 months, 4 yrs, 6 years) in addition to her 2 nephews (aged 3 years and 7 months.) She even brought them to the tide pools. Yes, including both babies. This woman is a rockstar and she is my heroine.
The kids LOVED the tide pools. We saw some cool stuff, but Kate was definitely the most awesome tour guide ever. She showed them everything they could touch and later, even found a sea anemone eating a lobster. WHAT?! Yes, look below to see the photo. I don't think you can really tell that it is an anemone. Evidently they eat fish and other marine creatures. I thought they just ate plankton.
Des and Maddie. So cute. When I asked all the kids to line up for a photo they were the only 2 who listened. They get the award for best kids.
And here's some of the others.
Hermit crabs!!!
My boys, leading the charge.
A hermit crab!
Calder and his crab
The sea anemone eating the lobster. Seriously amazing.
All of us. 18 kids. 6 adults. Yes, I'm serious. Are we insane? Tide pools + beach.
The princess. Eating. As usual.
And when she isn't eating, she's smiling.
I brought this awesome pop-up to keep us shaded at the beach. All 3 babies were born within a week of one another!
I went to visit Jeff. I hadn't seen him since January AND he moved in with a girl I didn't know. Sarah. Sarah has these 3 hairless cats. They are actually soft and sweet but I maintain that they look like little aliens. This is Leroy. Leroy and Aspen had a love affair.
She would open her mouth for the cat. Ahhh! Yuck!
Jeff and Sarah
My brother LOVES my babies. He is going to be an awesome Daddy. Aspen appreciated all the love for sure.
Sarah tickling Aspen.
Her parents have an awesome house (and her dad built the deck!)
It was so nice to see Jeff. It wasn't long enough, but it never really is. I went for less than 24 hours, but it was long enough to check in and see him. I'm thinking I'll try to do it every year and bring 1 kid each time. That way each kid gets special one on one time with mommy and they get to see Uncle Jeff. Pretty special, huh?
Next up: July 20th. I. CANNOT. WAIT. My aunts are coming. It's probably my favorite week of the year when they are here!!!!! They never come for long enough so I'm hoping they miraculously move their tickets and come this week. Oh that would make me SO SO happy! As for now, I am SO excited to see them. I need to stop counting the days....

Thanks for making me sound like a real tide pool pro :). It's more like I specialized in distraction and control..."Bah...forgot those boring waves and slippery rocks, kids! Come check out this anemone! It's over here, in 1" of water..."
Looking forward to more summer adventures!
sidenote: i understand hairless cats as one allergic to cat hair, but....*shudder* (no offense, Leroy).
