Ronald McDonald house, Christmas and Disney Princesses on Ice

We (me and 9 friends from church) fed the families at the Ronald McDonald house. We had SO much fun! We left extra early and had time for an early dinner/late lunch. It was our friend Caroline's birthday - so we brought her some chocolate to celebrate.  What an awesome lady to celebrate her birthday by serving.
 Caroline took this picture.
And there she is, in the middle. We set up a taco bar with all the fix-ins.
Us with Ronald. I'm sitting on his lap.

Stacy working hard on the beans!
Sally setting up the taco shells.
Megan and Caroline, chopping lettuce and tomatoes
Vicki, Lindsay and Katie preparing the meat

Chelsea and Elizabeth chopping tomatoes and onions

It is a GORGEOUS facility that was built 2 yrs ago. It's not even a block from Miller's Children's Hospital (not Hunter's hospital). The families there were so grateful to be fed. I wish we could find the funding to do this every week. or month.
 Us at lunch/dinner.
The place we went was called Patricia's, you know, since I organized the outing and service. Please note my cool red boots that I got for Christmas! (And my big belly that is 27 weeks pregnant!)
Daddy working hard on homework with Hunter. He has a ridiculous amount of homework over break.
The booty from Uncle Jeff and Sarah. I think they robbed PB kids kitchen section :-)
Another thing I got for Christmas - Brian is putting it in my parking spot in the garage.
Aspen LOVES her American Girl doll. Loves. It is SO cute.
And she got a baby crib.
Look at her face. She is SO excited.

The boys got sleeping bags, a tent (for the family) and a teepee.
 Swords and shields.

Landon was the first up (at 7:30) and when we came downstairs with him he said "I just LOVE it." it was so cute and innocent. Brian and I are both pretty taken with this little guy.

Viewing the booty when Hunter finally woke up at 9 am. I woke up at 5:30, waiting for them and they all slept late!

Hehehe - Santa left magic reindeer poop (whoppers).

I had to get Cinnabon's and make bacon for breakfast.

Love. Love. Love. Sweet little girl.
 An outfit for her baby!

 Cutie in the teepee

Thor was pouting. He got coal this yr.

Christmas Eve was a busy day, but our friends the Yees came by. Myler adores Aspen and frequently talks about marrying her.

On Monday night we went on the Polar Express. The kids LOVED it. Again.

 Oooh - so magical!

 A bell!

 The conductor punched our ticket.

On Sunday night, Brian's brother and sister came over for a Christmas celebration.  Quiet Uncle Jeff got this beautiful dress for Aspen. I don't know why she was pouting, but she sure is pretty.
Uncle Jeff got the boys Dusty Crophopper hats and jackets. Pretty cool!

Landon got the Pet Vet from Lakeshore learning catalog.  It is the thing that he wanted the most, as he is OBSESSED with cats and animals and wants to help them (and adopt them all.) If Brian would go along with it, we would have a cat or two. Landon's common refrain is "I want a cat, Mommy. A REAL one."

The cousins - Sawyer, Landon, Hunter, Tessa and Aspen.

 Eating dinner.
On Saturday we wanted to take the kids to Disney on Ice (princess edition). The boys didn't want to go, so we just took Aspen. We had SO much fun and her eyes were GLUED to the ice the entire time.
 The 3 of us.

 MICKEY!!!!

While we were waiting for Daddy to pick us up for Disney on Ice.
We have had a fantastic Christmas week. We moved Aspen out of her nursery and into the front room. Aspen and Maisy will share this room.  We spent the entire day on Christmas organizing the new playroom and the girls' new room.  The playroom is pretty much done but the girls' room is waiting on a ton of furniture. She is sleeping in the new room though! And we are trying to transfer her to the big girl bed! Lots of change as we prepare/nest!

Happy New Year!
