Every night, Brian reads to the kids. This is what the scene looks like and it melts.my.heart.every.single.night. I might also add that I love it because I get 15 minutes to myself. Thor sleeps there all night, at my feet. Sweet puppy.
On Sunday we left 2/3 of the way through church to visit my Dad. When we got to Vegas, Aspen was exhausted. I didn't realize until we got inside that she wasn't wearing her underwear. Oops.
Tired boys.
We took the kids bowling on Monday before going to see Kathey and my Dad. Landon and I had gone before but Hunter never had and he LOVED it!
Aspen is too little to bowl, but don't tell her that! She kept picking up the ball and insisting on bowling, so I gave her one of my turns, every few frames.
Landon's ball matched his pants!
Granny style? Or baby style?
Kathey and the Princess. Kathey was SO sweet to make us the best meal! It was a delicious feast and then they had 1000 gifts for the kids.
Aspen loved Santa - and she was also obsessed with my Dad.
I caught Dad "helping" Hunter with his M&M plane. They were totally sneaking M&Ms.
Aspen looooves Gwandpa.
And saying "goodbye" until morning when we had a nice pancake breakfast with Gwandma and Gwandpa.
Thanksgiving! Brian made a beautiful (and delicious) turkey. I made spinach soufflé, stuffing, gluten free stuffing, sweet potato casserole, homemade cranberry sauce, white cake and gluten free chocolate cake. My body seems to hate me right now, so I'm trying to decrease my gluten intake, as well as my dairy and nut intake until I feel better. It doesn't really matter though, my tummy hurts every night regardless. At least I can feel her moving a bunch now.
Kathey and Hunter snuggling.
We had a fantastic Thanksgiving and a wonderful visit with my Dad and Kathey. I cannot believe it is December 1st! We are gearing up for our Vail trip! Can't wait!
