We had a very busy Christmas. I'm trying to convince Brian that we should go out of town next year for Christmas. We can invite everyone and anyone to come with us, but we wouldn't have all of the stress of entertaining and all that goes along with that. He is not easily influenced on this topic.
Brian's sister, Vicki, and her family came from Boston to spend a few days with us. This is the only time of the year that the kids see their cousins, so they really look forward to it. Tessa is 6 months older than Hunter and Sawyer is 3 months younger than Landon.

Celebrating with Meema and Peepaw!
Maisy's first Christmas! She got her first Christmas gift from Meema and Peepaw and was much more concerned with all the commotion than with the actual item she received. Imagine all that noise and excitement coming from your siblings!
Santa Meema
SO CUTE! I just love this little insomniac.
Daisy got a puppet and Landon was....showing her how to use it? He is actually the most gentle one when it comes to his baby sister. Seriously. If the other 2 touch her, she cries immediately.
Grins!
Christmas morning.
American Girl doll from Santa! Complete with skis, boots and poles!
So thrilled!
Happy little man.
Tessa and Sawyer were here!
The Duke got his black cowboy hat.
Cousins! All 6 of them. And.....done! There will be no more cousins on the George side.
Christmas was super fun and busy. We celebrated on Monday Wednesday and Thursday. Friday the kids played with their cousins and Saturday morning we left for Jackson Hole. Jackson Hole was my Christmas. :-) I am really more interested in giving the kids experiences than in giving them meaningless gifts that will break before long. Sadly they don't see it from my perspective and prefer the gifts. I was proud and shocked, however, when they got excited about new sneakers, socks, pajamas and underwear. That's the main thing we gave them for Christmas. I also put together a calendar explaining the 9 weeks of vacation that we have scheduled for them in this upcoming year. I hope they appreciate all that they have. I also hope that we didn't get so bogged down in the gift giving (and receiving) that we forgot about the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior. What's a better gift than him?!
