Landon turns 5!!!!

First, these are the photos from Picture People of my little people. Aren't they crazy cute? I mean, seriously. They are SO cute. They each have their own unique and giant personality. I love it and I love them and I feel blessed to be their mom (even though they REALLY made me work for these photos!)

This little person is almost 10 months old. Can we please freeze time and make her stop? She is great at waving, saying "hiiii", clapping and standing on her back legs and her arms. She is hilarious and seriously makes me crack up!  She has mellowed out in her 10 months and is a great sidekick. She is happiest when she is eating and loves anything that she can smear all over her face (particularly blackberries.)

This means "pick me up" but is often mistaken for "will you marry me?"

Landon's birthday was at Adventureplex this year. It is hard to take pictures there, but rest assured that Landon and his 24 closest friends had a great time. They played hard for 2 hours and enjoyed the food that was included.

Now that Landon is 5, I will report all of his accomplishments. He appears to be through the grumpy stage and isn't as emotional as he used to be. He is a bit of an introvert and needs some time alone when he comes home from school everyday. He loves school, has a ton of friends, and now knows his letters, numbers and letter sounds. In fact, Landon is reading simple books. He is quite a super star and seems to have responded really well to the Montessori style. I am SO proud of him. He loves tennis, swimming, soccer, skiing, sledding and tubing. If it were up to him, I think he would ski and then swim every single day of his life. This boy is an athlete to the max.  He is warm and kind and loving, particularly to me and to "Mousey", his littlest sister.  He loves pretend play, which he does with Aspen and sports, which he is happy to do outside with Hunter.  He loves to build and I am convinced that he will be an architect or engineer when he is an adult. Actually, he's already taken to drawing plans of our Jackson Hole house. He's a great leader and a great follower and I am really proud of the amazing little boy that he is. I feel blessed to get one of his close mouthed smiles or a kiss planted square on my mouth. This boy is special.

She did it! She dipped her toes in the cake!

Sharing his birthday board at school. He is a keeper.
