My handsome, adorable, sweet little boy is 6! I can't believe it. He still seems like such a baby in so many ways. He spends a lot of time sitting in my lap and snuggling with me. He likes to be held and when I work in his classroom (which I do a lot) he insists on sitting with me and on my lap. His peers don't seem to bother him about it at all.
He asked to go to Jackson with his family for his birthday, so that was the big birthday celebration. On his birthday we got donuts for breakfast. Then we went to Adventureplex with 5 friends and ordered pizza and cupcakes for lunch. We went home after that and relaxed at home until Meema and Peepa came over. We met Rachel, Jeff and Jason at dinner (Cafe Rio - his top choice) and then came home for cake. He had an amazing birthday and was so happy.
Of course, as is tradition, he woke up with a room full of balloons!
Annie (far right) is his girlfriend. At a recent playdate, they made wedding rings and exchanged them. Then they planned where to take their kids on vacation. It must be true love <3 p="">

And she is fully potty-trained. She won't even pee in her pull up while she sleeps (and wakes me up at 5 am everyday to pee and then won't go back to sleep!)
On Wednesday, Daddy took Aspen on a date to Disneyland and then the rest of us met them there. I am feeling very reflective one everything lately, especially with this big surgery coming up soon. Anyhow, I was reflective on how big my kids are getting. Even when Maisy comes to lay with me in the morning, she takes 2 full arms to carry her. Hunter is up to the top of my shoulders and he isn't even 8 yet! I wish I could freeze their sweet ages instead of rushing them along to be more independent.

Just a quick update on my sweet little babies. How I love them. It's such a privilege to be their mommy.
