Week 20 & Scottsdale (week 21)

Hello! The George family has returned from some much needed rest and relaxation. Last week was a lot of fun, as was the week before that.

Hunter has become a really good jumper and wants to be in his jumperoo CONSTANTLY. I have uploaded a video of him jumping below. Here is his adorable "Mom, I'm jumping!" face. In addition to jumping, he has become a scruncher. He is able to get out of most of his devices if I don't strap him into them. Here, he is about to fall out of the car seat. I watched him do it once and he scrunched to the bottom and tipped the whole thing! I was standing right there, I just wanted to see what he'd do!
Look at that troublemaker's face! I could just eat him!

Talk about long and lean - he sure is! Isn't he adorable when he's stretching?
A group of us met up on Friday at the Custom Hotel for some appetizers and baby time. Here is Keegan, Scarlett, Hunter and Nora. Nora is attempting to eat Hunter, so you see Ryan's arm protecting him.

And there's a bite for good measure.
Here's Wilder and Brittaney.
The chef, Doug, Wilder and Brittaney
Ryan, Nora and Rhett. Aren't they the CUTEST family?
Hunter likes to eat everything, as discussed previously. He kept eating my hat so I finally took it off and gave it to him. He was obviously rather content.

Before the trip to Scottsdale we thought we'd install his big boy car seat. We thought it might be more comfortable for a 6 hour drive...here he is in it (with his puppy).
Here's Thor on his way to Doggy day care. He rides shotgun and I sit in the back with....
Nala. Isn't she a pretty girl?
Upon arriving in Scottsdale we were hungry, so Hunter read us the menu.
And then waited patiently for our food to come. He was quite a hit and EVERYONE was talking to us.

This is the view from the lounge - isn't it gorgeous?

Daddy and Hunter at dinner
Mommy showing Hunter the fire. It's his first time seeing fire and he was intrigued.
Here he is in Mommy's spot on the bed. Troublemaker!
We spent most of our days lounging by the pool. He's ready for a swim!

The view from our cabana. It's SO pretty in person.
After a lot of swimming, Hunter took a nap in Mommy's lounge, so Mommy had to lay with Daddy on his lounge.

I think he looks like a doll, especially from this angle.
Like father like son.

Now that we're awake we're ready to play! And for dinner we got all nice and clean, Does he look like me at all?!
The little family.

After a big meal, they nap - like father like son.
Happy baby.
Good morning Mommy!
I'm sitting! Now he sits without the help of his hands - it's so much fun to watch him develop.
The next day, at the pool.

Daddy and baby
Pure love
And adoration
Before dinner - with the beautiful desert sky behind us.

Hunter in a bib! I'm not a bib fan, but thought it was cute.
And one of my all-time favorite pictures - Hunter in his first tie. We went to a wedding on Saturday and I was preparing him for what would come.
And the next day, at the pool.
Naked boy - just after a bath. Look at the tush!

The family - again. There are never enough of this pictures.
And our smiley, happy baby.
When we were in San Diego, the father of the bride has a water taxi take us all to dinner. He we are on the boat,
The father of the bride and Brian - Terry is like Hunter's adopted Dad.
The Parker family _ someone else's baby.

Hunter keeping warm on the water taxi.
At the wedding, Hunter was looking dapper.
He is quite intent on watching this wedding.
Daddy and Hunter looking exquisite.
Baby boy is getting tired.

Terry with Hunter. He's in his sweater after an hour of rain!
On the way home with Hunter's puppy. We left San Diego after the wedding so it was past his bedtime!
Look Mom - I hold my own bottle!
Could his eyes be any bigger? Whose eyes are those anyways?
Hunter fell asleep on Mommy's lap.So that was our vacation - Scottsdale Monday thru Friday and San Diego Friday and Saturday. It's nice to be home, but I always prefer being on vacation with my boys because we get to spend time just the 3 of us - who could ask for anything more?
